Chinese Corner

Chinese Corner is a regular community activity held by London Confucius Institute and SOAS Chinese Cultural Society for people who are interested in Chinese language and culture. If you are looking for a place to practice your Chinese, learn more stories of Chinese culture and/or make new friends, come to our Chinese Corner.

Chinese Corner starts from Saturday 12th January 2008 and runs on each Saturday (except 16th February and 22nd March). The activities will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Group 1: Conversation Practice and Reading Exercise

In Group 1, we will help beginners to practise daily conversation to improve listening and speaking. We will also help Mandarin learners to review their language lessons.

Group 2: Topic Discussion

In Group 2, participants will mainly concentrate on the discussion on various cultural topics which are provided by corner members. All members will have opportunity to contribute their own topics of interest, and host their own discussions. We will keep and file all the discussion materials for the record.
