 Resources
The London Confucius Institute is a first point of contact for information on Chinese language, Chinese
culture and society, and study programmes in China. The LCI is establishing an information centre, a
specialised library, and other resources to support teachers and students of Chinese. Information and
support services include:
Chinese language
Information and research on aspects of Chinese language, including printed resources, and multimedia.
Resources and research on Chinese language learning and teaching, including access to journals and library.
Culture and society
Information and resources on Chinese art, history, culture and society, geography.
Scholarships
LCI administers scholarships for the learning and teaching of Chinese in the UK:
- LCI teaching and research awards (£500)
- LCI teaching awards for school teachers of Chinese (£300)
- LCI Chinese learning scholarship (£150)
- LCI Chinese learning award for school students (£100)
LCI funds may be provided:
- to support teachers and researchers who concentrate on a specific aspect of the teaching or learning of the Chinese language in the UK
- to support students of Chinese who win a Chinese language or culture competition organised by LCI or other recognised institution,
to travel in China
